Rob Ickes discovered the resonator guitar at thirteen and hasn’t looked back. He moved to Nashville in 1992, co‑founded the acclaimed bluegrass band Blue Highway in 1994, and went on to win a record fifteen International Bluegrass Music Association Dobro Player of the Year awards. A sought‑after session and touring musician, he has worked with everyone from Merle Haggard and Alison Krauss to Willie Nelson and David Lee Roth.
