Three Ring Circle's new CD, Brothership was released 4/26 and is available here. They do it with tone, taste, and absolutely unbelievable chops..."

Thanks for a great Summit!
ResoSummit 2011 took place on Nov. 10-13, featuring 81 workshops, 11 stellar faculty (including 2 master luthiers), Station Inn performances by Blue Highway, The Randy Kohrs Band, and the Claire Lynch Band with special guest Mike Witcher, and after-hours jamming into the wee hours. We definitely managed to achieve Total Dobro Overload!
A huge thanks to everyone who brought creativity and enthusiasm in full force to the Summit.
Participants: Please complete the online evaluation survey by Nov. 30. We're shooting for 100% participation! And we rely heavily on the survey to make next year's Summit even better than the ones before it.
We'll be posting a photo gallery within the next week, including a high-res download of the group photo. Watch for it here.
Interested in attending the 2012 Summit? Make sure your name is on the ResoSummit email list, and you'll get the "first call" when we open registration in January 2012. We sell out quickly (less than 3 hours in 2011), so respond quickly when you get the "first call" email. Use the sign-up box in the left column to join our email list.
When her father rebuffed her request for a dobro, thinking it was a passing fad, Bea Brackin of Dalton, GA sold a flute on eBay, bought a pawn shop dobro with the proceeds, and started teaching herself how to play. She turned 18 just before ResoSummit 2011, which she attended as the first recipient of the Houston Caldwell Scholarship.
Find out more about Houston Caldwell here.
Interested in applying for the 2012 Houston Caldwell Scholarship? You are eligible to apply if you will be 18 or under on November 8, 2012. Send us an email and let us know, and we'll let you know how to apply. Email: resosummit@gmail.com.
